Behind every great head chef, is a sous chef. You're like the first mate to the skipper. If the boat hits an iceberg, unfortunately you will have to stay on the ship while a violin plays until everyone gets on a lifeboat or dies. But you will get a lot of glory and respect. After all, sous chef isn't just a title that has a silent "s" at the end which makes the position sound super fancy and French. It's a job that requires supporting all of the kitchen functions from food purchasing, to food prep, to maintaining quality standards, and training employees. You're no Gilligan, this is an important job at b Restaurants and you'll be second in command.

WARNING! We may be a different company than you are used to. We do things our own way and we are growing fast. Our team works really hard and has a lot of fun. We put a lot of effort into making sure all of the people who work with us fit us and that we fit them. This written interview is probably very different than what you're used to. Many of these questions don't have a technically correct answer (though some do), this is designed for us to get to know you and you us. Take your time, have fun and be yourself. Good Luck!
